Manage License Keys

All Pivot Table & Charts Component editions need a license key. The key can be Free, Trial, Developer's or Production. You receive the key within the component package. It is in the package > flexmonster > flexmonsterpivottablekey.txt file.

There are 2 ways to set a license key for the component:

• via TXT file - flexmonsterpivottablekey.txt
• via javascript parameter productKey

Existing Types of Keys

Flexmonster Pivot Table and Charts component has four editions: Standart, Professional, Enterprise Site and Enterprise Advance. There are some difference between them. Actually a key type has to be selected correctly according to your version of component edition. Please remember that each version has its own key type which unlock it.

Here is a description for all key types:

• Trail Key – you can run the component without any restrictions with all capabilities according to downloaded edition. This key is temporary and has an expiration date displayed in the left component's corner for you to see.
• Developer's Key – needed for integrators and developers to build, test and create web or flex applications. This one has a limit: it is suitable for developers only. You may work with the component locally on your computer (localhost) or have an ability to test applications on the server using IP address.
• Production Key – needed when you have to place an application into your web page. This key is tied up to your domain name.
• Free Key - you can use the component for free. This key works everywhere but always has branding text in the bottom right corner. Supports only CSV files limited by 300Kb.

Possible Editions

Depend on what kind of edition is downloaded appropriate key type is needed. Has some feature restrictions available only with professional or enterprise edition.

• Standard Edition – works only with CSV data source and has a size limit for it.

• Professional Edition – working with limited CSV data size sourse and has professional features to work.

• Enterprise  Site Edition – Mondrian and CSV is supported. CSV file has a limit up to 4Mb.

• Enterprise  Advance Edition – there are no restrictions for CSV files size. Microsoft Analysis Services and Mondrian are supported data source. All professional and enterprise features are fully supported.
