As the only possible solution, we suggest hiding the column by setting width: 0 in report.tableSizes. We have prepared an example for illustration: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/97n35gze/.
Please kindly note that this approach hides the column by its index. If the slice is changed, please check whether the idx in tableSizes is defined correctly. You are welcome to use the setTableSizes API call to specify the new idx if needed.
