Wrong totals when filtering by 'Values'

Answered
Ilaria asked on May 13, 2022

Hi,
I found an issue on partial/grand totals when these two condition met:

  • filter on values
  • some aggregate has all children not matching the condition

Here's a JSFiddle
If you filter color by 'Price grater than 0': the node 'Accessory' should be not visible. As you can see, it is visible instead and if you expand that node it has no child.
Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

There're some known limitations with filtering by values. Although, this behavior is unexpected. Our team will research possible solutions for this issue and provide you with results ETA June 13.

You are welcome to write to us in case further questions arise.

Kind regards,
Nadia

Hello Nadia,
I'm sorry but I checked the fix and it seems that it doesn't solve the issue completely.
With the same JSFiddle if you filter the field Category (by values grater than 0) than it works. But if you filter the field 'Color' than the aggregate 'Accessory' is still visible (without children) when it shouldn't.

Hello, Ilaria,

Thank you for the quick response.

We suppose there's an old version of Flexmonster cached in your browser. Kindly check the component's version by clicking on the grid and pressing Ctrl + Alt + i (Option + Control + i on macOS). It should be 2.9.27.
The following example shows that everything works as expected: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/d02w8ou6/

Please let us know if it works for you. Feel free to contact us if other questions arise.
