Flexmonster provided some work around for the above problem (to use external third party charts) in the above link. But in my application we are having flexmonster charts in the dashboard. If we are integrating other external or third party charts there seems to be some inconsistency in the look as well as the feature.
Since this issue raised long back, you might be working on this. So can you please check and let us know when will it be available in the flexmonster component.

Thank you for writing to us.
You are right, currently, our Scatter chart works like Line chart without lines.
The task to improve our Scatter chart is already added to our backlog. We have set a higher priority for this improvement after your request and will inform you of any updates. However, we are not able to provide you with any estimates.
You have mentioned that the workaround with third-party charts is not desirable because of the look and feel. One possible option is integration with the d3.js library. This charting library is the library actually used for our pivot charts, so the look and feel can be configured the same way.
