Answered
vaibhav asked on July 2, 2021

Hi,

We are trying to use setReport() call. We already have stored report object. After applying setReport() we can see that sortOrder is present as we have provided(We checked using getReport() call). But its not taking effect.  We are using version 2.8.8. And we are using this custom sort on datestring column
Kindly help it's urgent.

Regards,
Vaibhav

Hi,
Can you tell me more about the issue. Is this because of the date string column? is there any workaround meanwhile? Will this fix be on version 2.8.8?

Hello, Vaibhav,

Thank you for your feedback.

The issue appears because of the internal representation of the `date string` data type. Currently, there is no known workaround for version 2.8.8.

The mentioned fix will be provided in one of the following releases (2.9.*). Flexmonster update to the latest version will be required to receive the fix.

Our Sales team will contact you through email to provide additional information.

Kind regards,
Illia
