Random outofmemoryexception in .NET data server debug environment

Answered
Pedro Fernandes asked on October 8, 2023

Hello,
We have implemented a .NET Flexmonster data server, but in debug environment it throws out the error system.outofmemoryexception randomly when consuming a json bigger than 300 kb. Sometimes it happens, other times it doesn't, with the same data.
In the production environment this never happens so we are releasing the code into production every time to use it. But we are fearful that this problem might come back to us because we don't fully understand it.

  • Has this problem been reported before?
  • Is there something we can do to fix the debug enviroment?
  • Should we be worried about this?

Other than this, the Flexmonster Server has excellent performance and we really want to use it to implement absorbent null values and text aggregations for statistical data annotations.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Pedro Fernandes

Hello Pedro,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our team appreciates your feedback about the Flexmonster performance. We are glad to hear that you are interested in our component.
Kindly note that our .NET custom data source API example is a sample project and not designed for production use. The sample server was created to demonstrate the primary steps of implementing the custom data source API protocol and will require improvement on your end to meet all requirements.

Hope you will find our answer helpful.

Kind regards,
Nadia

Your answer was not helpful, we need more support than copy/paste default pre-prepared answers.
Can you help up resolve the absorbent null value issue?
Thank you,
