Calculated fields becomes an important instrument to visualize OLAP cube data as it is required by certain business task. Sometimes values are not stored in the format that would be best visible.

Along with previously announced conditional formatting, calculated values can be even more powerful in your pivot table.

To create a new calculated value, call up the Layout configuration window. Click “Add new calculated value…” across the measure you would like to calculate on. Name your newly calculated value and enter formula or use the example from demo. Save and it will be automatically added to available measures.

Once the calculated value is created, it will show up in the list and you can start adding it to your pivot table. Please note that this feature is available only for reports based on CSV data source.
