Add filter in calculated fields for FLAT Table layout

Answered
Subodh Singh Dongol asked on September 16, 2021

Hello,
We have a use case where we would like to implement filters on the calculated fields in flat table layout. I was hoping to know if there was a solution/workaround that can be implemented that will let us do so.
For example: In the flat table in the attached image, is it possible to add filters for Calculated Field 1 and Calculated Field 2.
Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, filtering calculated values on the flat form is not available. There is no workaround for this functionality at this point.

Meanwhile, could you please specify what data source is used in your project?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Illia

Hello,
Our report users love the calculated fields feature and tend to create them as much as possible and like to filter on those data to get valuable insights. We know there's such a feature in classic and compact layouts. So, we were wondering if it was possible in flat layout as well or any plans to add it on the future release. It would be great to have a feature like that or even a workaround would be nice to have.
Thank you for the quick responses.
