To get the data from your database, you will need to run Flexmonster Data Server. The Data Server is a special server-side tool responsible for fetching data, processing, and aggregating it. Then the data is passed to Flexmonster Pivot in a ready-to-show format. Supported databases: MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.

$ flexmonster add fds -r

Once run, the add command will download the Data Server and run it with a sample data.

Flexmonster Accelerator is a special server-side proxy that increases data loading speeds when compared to XMLA. Flexmonster Accelerator works with both multidimensional cubes and tabular models. It should be installed on the server where the SSAS instance is running.
