We use tab separated files for various reasons. Mostly this works well, however if the first column for any given row is blank, that entire record is "left-shifted" for as many columns as were blank, which causes data alignment issues with all the following columns.
Is there any solution for this? (besides adding an identity column to every data-set)

The fix will be available within the minor release 2.121 (ETA Nov 10).
