Format numerical values to thousands (K), millions (M), billions (B)

I have raw values that i want to change their formatting on the fly

For e.g. a value is displayed as 1,000,000,000

I want to also show it via changing the formatting as:

  1. 1,000,000 K
  2. 1,000 M
  3. 1 B

is this possible?

Hello, Chern Yu Zi!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We suggest using customizeCell() approach to format values on the grid and display shortened 1B, 1M, 1K format. For dynamic format change, please add the custom control outside Flexmonster, which will change the formatting level and then call flexmonster.refresh() to apply new formatting.

We have prepared a JSFIddle example to show the idea: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/wLkdry8x/.

Hope you will find our answer helpful.

Kind regards,
Solomiia
