Behavior of Row Grand Totals (Total showing for each measure)

Answered

Hi I had a query regarding the behavior of the show grand totals option. I have multiple measures appearing in the columns and assumed that I would get a sum of all the row values in a single column. Instead it is adding a total column for each measure which doesn't make sense in my case since the measure is already an aggregate sum. Is there anything I am doing wrong or is this a limitation in the library?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

Adding a total column for each measure is expected behavior in a pivot table. If this logic does not fit your use case, you can disable the totals feature in the Options object. Alternatively, you can create a calculated value that sums all the required measures into a single column. You are welcome to check our documentation for more details: https://www.flexmonster.com/doc/calculated-values/.

Please let us know if it works for you. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Nadia
