We are using API datasource version 2.8.8, Flexmonster client version 2.8.11-1.
The easiest way to reproduce is this is by using https://github.com/flexmonster/pivot-mongo
Checkbox beside the category field should be unchecked after drag'n drop.

The described issue has already been reported and we are currently working on the solution. The fix is going to be available with our upcoming release ETA Aug 10th.

We are happy to let you know that the issue with unselecting fields in the Field List when using drag and drop was fixed.
