Hello support team,
Facing a problem:
when created a Calculated value with distinctcount measure and then deleted from FlexMonster this measures, so we got a problem(1.png), but if we used another aggregation – it was worked
Thank you for contacting us.
Our team has made some assumptions about the described case:
We have also prepared the JSFiddle sample with the behavior described above: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/urca6vxh/.
Could you please check the example and tell us if we have reproduced the described case correctly?
If not, we kindly ask you to modify the example to make the case reproducible.
Looking forward to your response.
I reproduced this problem
We used options.validateFormulas = false
But if you change the formula on “count”(or another aggregation) information is shown
Thank you for getting back to us and for the JSFiddle where the case is reproducible.
Our team will take a look at the described behavior and remove the exception thrown for distinctcount aggregation created with non-existent measure when the formula validation is disabled. The fix will be available in our minor release with the ETA October 31th.
We will notify you about any updates on the matter.
Our team also kindly recommends to enable the
validateFormulas option to avoid possible issues with the calculated values.
Feel free to contact us in case of any other questions.
Hope you are doing well.
We are glad to inform you that the exception when using aggregation over non-existent measure in calculated values was fixed.
This fix is included in the 2.9.37 version of Flexmonster: https://www.flexmonster.com/release-notes/version-2-9-37/.
You are welcome to update the component.
Here is our updating guide for reference: https://www.flexmonster.com/doc/updating-to-the-latest-version/.
Please let us know if the fix works well for you.
Hope you are doing well.
Our team is wondering if you had some time to test the fix.
Could you please let us know if it works for your case?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
