    drillUpCell

    drillUpCell(axisName: string, tuple: string[], measureName: string, memberName: string)

    [starting from version 2.9.6]

    Drills up a specific hierarchy level on the grid and charts.

    Parameters

    Parameter/Type Description
    axisName
    String
    The level's axis. It can be either "rows" or "columns".
    tuple
    String[]
    The tuple is needed if the hierarchy is nested in another hierarchy. It consists of member unique names that identify the hierarchy’s parent node. See an example on JSFiddle.
    measureName
    String
    The measure's unique name. Use the measureName to drill up a hierarchy level for a specific measure when:
    • The slice has several measures.
    • The hierarchy to drill up is nested in measures.
    If the measureName is null, the hierarchy level will be drilled up for all measures in the slice.
    memberName
    String
    The name of the hierarchy level to drill up.

    Examples

    1) Drill up a specific hierarchy level:

    flexmonster.drillUpCell("columns", [], null, "2021");

    See the full code on JSFiddle.

    2) Drill up a specific level in the nested hierarchy:

    flexmonster.drillUpCell("rows", ["blue"], null, "USA");

    See a live sample on JSFiddle.

    3) Drill up the second hierarchy level:

    flexmonster.drillUpCell("columns", [], null, "geography.[usa].[california]");

    See the full code on JSFiddle.

    4) Drill up a specific hierarchy level for a specific measure:

    flexmonster.drillUpCell("rows", [], "Price", "USA");
