Sort by aggregated value

Answered
Craig Button asked on December 14, 2022

Hello,
When using measures with aggregation we're unable to sort the pivot by them.
For reference we are using a Microsoft analysis services data cube.

Kind regards,

Hello, Craig!

Thank you for contacting us.

Kindly note that we haven't managed to reproduce the described behavior on our side.

We have prepared a JSFiddle example with our multidimensional sample cube: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/nxjvd1zc/.
In this example, the values are sorted initially by the measure with percentofcolumn aggregation in the slice.sorting. The example also shows how the sorting can be changed using the sortValues() API call.
Could you please look through the provided example and modify it to make the case reproducible?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Solomiia
