What excel like functions can we use in formulae? Round? Roundup? Rounddown? Floor? Sumif? Concatenate?

Please click on Add calculated value button inside the Field List to see the pop-up window for adding the new value. Here you will see which operators can be used in the formula. Compose the formula by clicking on operators and dragging the existing values to the formula box.

Yes, I am aware of the workings of the field list. Also looked over the API. It seems like the functions I am looking for are not available

The pivot table does not provide the functions you were asking about.
