Localization file - npm updates

Answered
Ilaria asked on January 30, 2020

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to include the localization files in the npm package.
As I know, they are available only at the link Localizing Components but, since we update the package almost  every time you release, it is not easy for us keeping updated also these files.
Thank you!

Hi Ilaria,

Thank you for posting your question.

Kindly note that you can always find the most up-to-date localization files on our CDN (e.g. https://cdn.flexmonster.com/loc/it.json) – we update it on a regular basis and make sure it contains the most relevant files.

With that in mind, would it be a viable solution for you to load the localization files from the CDN by including the corresponding link in your project? Or would you still prefer to receive them together with the npm package?

We would be happy to hear your thoughts.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Mykhailo

Hi Mykhailo,
we can't include the files as link in our page because we don't know the network configurations of all our clients, so we can't exclude the possibility that they don't have internet access.
That's why we need to deploy these files in our project.
If you could publish them together with the npm package it will be great!
Thank you!
Ilaria
