Hello,
I know that this is not the first ticket regarding string comparison, nevertheless, our team definitely needs this feature. I understand that some workarounds could be found, but in our vision comparing strings is not that feature that must require any tricks. This should be a common option for any analytical tool. A simple example is here.

Thank you for writing to us.
Our team would like to kindly explain that comparing string members in the calculated value formula is not supported at the moment. This is because, by design, the calculated value functionality was intended for values, not hierarchies.
We have added your request regarding string comparison to our customers' wishlist and we will inform you in case of any updates regarding this feature.
As noted before, currently for such cases we kindly suggest using the customizeCell hook approach to achieve the necessary output.
