  1. For example, on FM demo, we set filter on Status (https://www.flexmonster.com/demos/js/pivot-table/):

In Compact and Flat form, all dimensions are normally visible.

Hello, Janez!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that the described behavior is known for the classic view. We kindly suggest adding a UI control to reset filters as a possible workaround.
Here is a JSFiddle sample to illustrate the idea: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/oqf0x9gc/.

Please let us know if the suggested approach works for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Solomiia

Hello,
Thank you for your response, but we really don't want to add such workarounds to our solution as it will only add additional confusion for our users.
I would suggest moving in the direction of how Excel works in a "flat form." When you filter as described, it should leave all headers of dimensions intact and not delete them, as in your case.
Could you please work with the development team to address this issue, as other tools have already solved a similar problem?
