[Bug Report] Formula returns wrong values when hierarchies are moved in the grid

Resolved
Projet Data asked on July 9, 2020
  • Version: Pivot Table for JSON data sources v2.8.10
  • Browser: Chrome Version 83.0.4103.116 on Windows 10
  • Link to reproduce: https://jsfiddle.net/t79zqsco/
  • Steps to reproduce:
    • Open attached JSFiddle
    • See values for measure "Balance Start" on 2013 and Totals (e.g. for Country "BE" it is 1 476.76 in 2013)
    • In the grid, drag the hierarchy "Country" from the rows to the columns and then drag it back from columns to rows (to restore initial configuration)
    • See values for measure "Balance Start" on 2013 and Totals once again
  • Observed behavior:
    • "Balance Start" on 2013 and in Totals has different values (e.g. for Country "BE" it is now 2 191.47 in 2013) (see attached screencap)
  • Expected behavior:
    • "Balance Start" (or any measure based on a formula) should not return different values when hierarchies are moved through drag&drop and then restored back to the initial configuration
  • More details:
    • "Balance Start" is a formula based on 2 runningtotalsofrow calculations. Bug doesn't seem to occur with only one runningtotalsofrow in the formula (untested with other aggregations)
