BUG: When expanding a Hierarchy in Classic Mode, rows do not render

Answered
eze@wejugo.com asked on September 7, 2020

The rendering bug appears when I try to expand a lower than top-level level of a hierarchy that is placed after another field in rows.
It's best to see the example in this JSFiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/ezk84/r08dkf6b/8/
When I try to expand a member of the Size field, I don't see any of the rows for the Item / Category level. If I select Options and turn on Compact mode, the view renders correctly. Curiously, if I then turn back Classic mode, the view is also rendered as I expect.
This is done against the Custom Data Source API and I don't know if it happens against other types of data sources.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting the problem.

We would like to confirm that such an issue persists when using other data sources.
Our team assumes it is connected with multilevel hierarchies used in the slice.

The fix is going to be provided with a minor update ETA Oct 05.
We will notify you as soon as the version with a fix is available to download.

We hope it works for you.
Please contact us in case any other questions arise.

Kind regards,
Illia
